Game-breaking bug

On the Mac version, I was talking to Wendell and there were too many dialogue options to fit on the screen. I couldn't end the conversation and had to force quit.

Same problem here.

This really sucks, as I can't play the game in full-screen (as was intended for such a nice-looking game).

Talked to our devs. They are currently looking into that issue.

The temporary fix is to just adjust the resolution to one that will fit the entire screen in your display. Something like 640x480 in windowed mode - you can do this under the settings in the game.

After you pass that one dialogue and move on, just switch back to full-screen from the same settings screen.

I figured that myself, but it didn't work for me.

The game engine is unfortunately riddled with bugs, and not only on Mac. On Windows I finally managed to play it through, but had to skip the minecart minigame, as it seemed to glitch out on me all the time.

How do you release a game that can not even be finished?
2 weeks since the first forum message about this bug and still no bug fix release.
I was liking this game, but I can not play it anymore!
And you can't even say WHEN the bug fix will be released???

Unfortunatly we are a small company with lots of projects in the works at the moment. The development team still is working on that issue, though. In the meantime, the buggy dialogues can be played around in windowed mode. Sorry you have to wait / play around this!

Unfortunately this isn't true for all dialogues. The Hannek Truck Key dialogue will always hide the Sugarpuff option, no matter what resolution you choose in windowed mode, making it impossible progress past point in the game.

Hello,

I will quote what I just wrote in the other thread, where you mentioned this problem

Quote:
Hello,

our development team is currently working on a Patch to fix this problem.

If you are still stuck in the Hannek dialogue, you could try to copy your savegame to a Windows-PC and play past this point, then copy it again and play on your Mac.

Your savegames will be located in your Library-folder (go to - go to folder - ~/Library/).
