just bought "half-life counter strike" from a thrift store have an error
"your system only reported a -0.00k of physical memory, counter strike needs at least 16 MB"
i tried to register the key on steam but someone already did and then i guess they decided to put it in a thrift store is there a fix so it stops thinking that i only have negative physical memory |

Is it an online store or actual store?
If its online store then you got scammed. If its actual store you need to take the game back and ask for refund, never buy used games (Steam) or if you have the gamebox with CD-key sticker contact Steam Support and ask them to reset the CD-key for you (if it isn't used game). |

I don't think you got scammed.
Try to exec it in compatibility mode for windows 98 or xp. |

should never buy a game from a thrift store if you plan on playing it. I know Bookmans will take in used pc games knowing that someone has already used the cd key and then they don't give refunds. its sad really.
