Is this a good enough Asus Laptop for Steam

Thinking about buying a gaming laptop that can hopefully run skyrim and other similar games in mid-level graphics.

Laptop Specs:
Processor 2.2 GHz Core i7-2630QM
Hard Drive 1500 GB
Graphics Coprocessor NVIDIA GeForce GTX 560M
Chipset Brand NVIDIA
Graphics Card Ram Size 3000 MB

it will be good for most games, but it is strange. if you can, try to find A higher clocked i5 as most games can't use 4 cores.

That said, the graphics card is comparable to mine, you should play skyrim at ultra. Also, that is a ridiculous amount of video RAM for that card. if you can, try to get 1 or if you want better texture mods for skyrim, try 1.5, either way you'll be fine.

Also, the normal RAM is slightly excessive, I have never even come close to using 8 Gb, you could save some money if you look for less RAM.

all these are good, only thing I recommend is a higher clocked i5 if its an option. aim for something in the 3.1-above range.
