Question Team Fortress 2 not opening?

I just updated my TF2 and now it does not open... I reinstalled everything onto my computer and it still sits at the app where there is no TF2 logo. It says EXEC in the top left. This is what it looks like

It gives me the only option to force quit the app. I've waited more than 2 hours last night to see if it was just stalling for some reason, but it did not open...

Is anyone else having this problem? Is it just a result of the mass update? Anything I can do to fix it?

If you force quit, can you PM me the call stack?

In addition, have you verified the game files?

Actually last night, I was having a major problem with the game files validating and verifying. I did "Verify Steam Cache Files" in the properties menu, ever since that I can't open the game.
