[Beta] [BUG] Notifications of comments on removed pages

I recieved a notification about new comment for the screenshot i commented before, but before i checked it out, the screenshot was banned. Now i can't get rid of this notification.

I write because i have the same problem.

I have 1 notification about a new comment on my profile, but when i click the notification to check it, i receive an error which says to me that the comment does not longer exist.

There is no way to delete the notification! it still holds there and no matter what i click or go

I'm also getting a notification about one new comment that just links to an error page saying I have no new comments. I can't remove the notification and it's very annoying. Tried logging in to the steam website instead of the client in hopes I could remove it but I have the same problem there.

My friend helped me with solution which is really easy- there is a link(white text) above comment notifications feed, which marks them all as if you read them.

Where is the white link, or "comment notification feed" located?

I have the "1 new comment" notification also which i cannot get rid of. If i try and view the comment it just keeps saying..

"Sorry!
An error was encountered while processing your request:

You have no comment notifications at this time."

Ive tried logging into the website also instead of the client and it still shows 1 new comment.

EDIT: ok i managted to fix it

Solution - Ask a friend to make a comment on any of your screenshots and you should see "2 new comments" on your notifications in the top right corner of your steam client. Click on the notifications, and then 2 new messages, and you will be taken to your comments page (you couldnt do this with the original 1 new comment as it just gave an error page).

Once on your comment page, you can then mark all messages as read and it will remove the screenshot comment and the annoying 1 new comment you couldnt read

Just had the same problem, had a comment notification but the comment no longer existed. There was no way to clear the notification.

Fixed it by having a friend leave a comment on my profile and then marking all as read.
