There are multiple people having this problem it seems including me. The only thing I've figured out was I can play in Train and Aztec but other maps make me crash. I tried verifying game cache and reinstalling but I still have the same problem.

I am personally not having this problem but a friend of mine is, i think this has to do with your hardware... Not much you can do about that as far as i know besides downloading the latest graphics drivers and waiting for valve to add better support for all hardware.

I'm having this problem too.
After two or three map changes csgo.exe will stop responding, followed by the Steam error.

Starting to get tedious having to reboot the game every other time a match ends.
I get surprised when it doesn't crash now.

It only happens to me sometimes, like Im playing on a server and then the server changes maps, and thats when it happens. But it isn't all the time, usually its just random when it happens but its so annoying.I usually just stop playing for a while cause it can be frustrating.

I know it's beta but if its like this in release then it will be bad. Very disappointing due to no responses from Valve about this issue so far and there are other threads regarding this as well with no fixes. Map changes crash on me too. It loads all the way until the timer with 5sec shows up and then boom...crashes.

Nothing has changed since release. I'm still getting booted out of the game before matches. I really hope this gets fixed...Until then I will play CSS.

I have pretty much tried everything and haven't had any luck.
The game won't start at all. Pretty frustrating to say the least...

It even happens if you play offline with bots after quitting and changing the map a few times.

What concerns me is that very few people are reporting this (meaning it probably won't get addressed). It's not like it's a hardware error seeing as the actual program is crashing.

I finally got it to work. I reformatted with windows vista(that my PC came with). It didn't work; same thing happened. Then I reformatted with windows 7 and it works fine.
