Dark souls only in steam US

hi first of all i am from saudi arabia so english is not my first language..
i didn't know where i can put this post so i think Steam Community Discussion is the right place anyway i can't find darksouls in steam euro so i think the game can only be seen in steam us anyway i have money in steam wallet and US IP can i buy the game and download it fine or is my 40$ will be gone and i just have to wait for namco to publish the game in euro region. and if i did it and steam knew about it are they going to ban me?..and sorry again about my english if you didn't understand some sentence.. bye.

If you are Europe Tier 1 (i think it was 1) you are SOL. They dont sell titles with Windows LIVE to that region cause many countreys dont have GFWL.

You CAN get it in the stores i bet. And if you have a friend who lives in the US, UK or EU Tier 2 or any other place its available to. You can get it that way.

GFWL titles are Microsoft drm. If GFWL is not supported in your region you can't play, even if the game is gifted to you.

This is ♥♥♥♥ing horrible, i want to buy the game and i cant because of Microsoft idiotic region lock... And if i try to buy it from a store who will guarantee me that i can activate the game online so i can play?? This is truly outrageous, some people preordered the game and now they can't play it because its region locked.Microsoft is the worst company i have ever seen, period. I'm from Romania, does anyone have a suggestion as to how i can aquire the game and play it online aswell??

I did preordered dark souls and I'm from UAE but can't load the game O.o that not fair LOL how 2 fix this any1 have idea

For us who live in Unsupported regions all we can do is create UK / US or supported account, activate the game on those and hope online works.

In fact lables on Live games here say to do that.

More like. And people wonder why people pirate games, movies, music, manga, tv series not only in 3rd world but also Europe and Asia and All over the world.

Cause of this Region BS for every thing.

I dont like piracy, and I have a strict no games piracy rule but sometimes its the only way to watch a show or something.
