ALL IN THE SAME CAR RACING SESSION

hi folks! since the BIG/HEAVY CARS ONLY racing session (and all the other sessions before) were a blast, i would like to announce the next racing session with stuff, that hasn´t been done before, too.

what is the deal this time? well, the idea is to drive 12 races. these 12 races are divided into 3 groups/parts, whilst in every race ALL PLAYERS HAVE TO USE THE SAME CAR:

1st part are 4 races with "RARELY SEEN CARS"

1) D-class Nissan Navara (Off-Road) on LA River Concrete Basin 3 Laps
2) C-class Ford Bronco (Off-Road) on Hollywood Hills Downtown Vista 3 Laps
3) B-class Chevrolet HHR (Race) on SanFran Sausalito Golden Gate Rush 3 Laps
4) A-class Challenger SRT8 (Race) on LA Downtown Highrise Ring 3 Laps


2nd part are 4 races with "Driver´s Favourites"

5) D-class ACS1 Coupe (legendary or normal) on Brighton Costal Cruise 3 Laps
6) C-class Ford Shelby GT500 on Hollywood Hills Hollywood Rift 3 Laps
7) B-class Viper ACR on Hackney Central Sprint 4 Laps
8) A-class Astra Extreme (legendary, Shannon´s or normal) on Barcelona Gracia Catalan Climb 3 Laps


3rd part are 4 races with "Big/Heavy Cars"

9) D-class Land Rover Defender SVX on LA Downtown Harbour Freeway 3 Laps
10) C-class Hummer H2 (Off-Road) on Mount Haruna
11) B-class Nemesis (legendary or normal) on SanFran Russian Hill Russian Steppes 4 Laps
12) A-class FR-100 on LA Docks Pacific Reach 4 Laps


“Banned/not allowed mods”

During the whole session the following mods are not allowed to be used (I put the description behind the mods from the English version just to make sure, that you all know what I mean):

Drifter (score super-drifts to earn nitro power-ups)

Decoy Drop (dropped power-ups become decoys, that explode when picked up by other drivers)

Silent running (turns your car invisible unless you fire or take damage)


Since the legendary cars come fully pimped in terms of more fans, health, speed out of the box and some of you might have pimped up their cars further than other players i will switch off all of these upgrades for the whole session.

I plan the session for Sunday, September, 2nd, 2012. I wanna start at 16 o´clock (4 p.m.) Germany time. By that time it is 3 p.m. in UK, 10 a.m. in New York and midnight in Sydney.

In the last session we managed to get up to 15 players into the lobby :-). common folks: MAKE THE 20 HAPPEN THIS TIME!

Finally!! This is something I wanted to see in a racing session for a loooong time!
Unfortunatly... I can not attend both dates... :'(

Some feedback about the races/rules:
-Powerup timelag: Don't do that, it is very lame. It takes away the advantage of stealing powerups and tactical powerup placement...

This is great but I think we should do it before summer ends. I might be not avaible around this time around since I will be dealing with school stuffs at that time T_T'' But I will do my utmost to participate this event for sure!

I'd be better off a week earlier ( Sept 15 ) or a week later ( Oct 6 ) :P

I'd rather do it september 1st (Borderlands 2, man ... will be playing the ♥♥♥♥ out of that >_>) but I can obviously do any date.

Also will all the races be of the same 'playlist' (I'm assuming the 'Blur Alpha' playlist)?


Also also leave power-up respawn on 'normal'. putting it on 'always' just makes everyone follow through the same weapons in a line. plus it's just for fun.
I'd be a jerk and put it on 'long' hahaha...

yes. i thought, that i didn´t need to mention that anymore. so, of course: Blur Alpha meaning no shields and no repairs

Sounds like a blast, won't know til the friday before whatever date is chosen... I work at a paving company, so if the weather's good, I will be working.....more than likely... Hope to be there on whatever date.... I agree with leaving the powerups as is tho'....imho
