Evil Glitches In Half-Life 2 Synergy

I have been playing Half-Life 2 and the episodes on Synergy with teammates but we have always encountered evil glitches which make it impossible to complete the game without using insane tricks or skipping or restarting maps/levels. Here is a list of the glitches:-

First Half-Life 2

1) In the "Point Insertion" map d1_trainstation_01 the whole map turns black as soon the G-Man cutscene has finished. This glitch is very common.

2) Also in the "Point Insertion" map d1_trainstation_01 1 or even 2 citizens block the entrance to the security checkpoint. Fortunately this glitch only occasionally happens.

3) In the "A Red Letter Day" map d1_trainstation_05 I respawned behind the locked teleportation room in Dr Kleiner's lab after the map auto-disconnected during Alyx's teleport setup. Fortunately this glitch only occasionally happens.

4) In the "Route Kanal" map d1_canals_01a the entire team respawns outside the map if we all die. Fortunately this glitch only occasionally happens.

5) Also in "Route Kanal" in the map d1_canals_02 the wooden plank for the makeshift jumping ramp doesn't appear. Fortunately this glitch only occasionally happens.

6) In the "Water Hazard" map d1_canals_11 the counterweight will not lift the makeshift jumping ramp into position for the airboat jump even though we have pushed the heavy washing machine into the counterweight. Even the lever to lift the counterweight doesn't shift. Fortunately this glitch only occasionally happens.

7) In the "We Don't Go To Ravenholm" map d1_town_01 the cartrap engine winches will not lift the cars which act as both anti-zombie traps and parts of a makeshift upper level walkway. Even the winch lever doesn't shift. This glitch is very common.

8) Also in the "We Don't Go To Ravenholm" map d1_town_01 the Headcrabs, Zombies, wooden slats and all the physics items are invisible. Fortunately this glitch only occasionally happens.

9) Also in "We Don't Go To Ravenholm" in the map d1_town_03 the winch will not move the upper level platform into position to complete the makeshift upper level walkway. Even the winch lever doesn't shift. This glitch is very common.

10) Also in "We Don't Go To Ravenholm" in the map d1_town_05 Leon will not open the door to his office even though all of the Combine Soldiers have been killed at Ravenholm Shorepoint. Fortunately this glitch only occasionally happens.

11) In the "Highway 17" map d2_coast_04 near Dock 137 the dune buggys will not work after spawning whether they are provided by the game or spawned by votes. They cannot even be moved from their spawn points whether by driving or punting with the Gravity Gun. Fortunately this glitch only occasionally happens.

12) Also in "Highway 17" in the map d2_coast_05 the dune buggys will not spawn at any of the spawn points. Fortunately this glitch only occasionally happens.

13) Also in the "Highway 17" map d2_coast_05 the entire team respawns outside the map if we all die. Fortunately this glitch only occasionally happens.

14) In the "Sandtraps" map d2_coast_10 the map auto-disconnects during the Combine dropship and gunship attack at Lighthouse Point. This glitch is very common.

15) In the "Entanglement" map d2_prison_06 Alyx will not open the door to let us out of the "visiting room" after talking to Eli. This glitch is very common.

16) Also in "Entanglement" I was playing the first turret standoff solo in the control room in map d2_prison_07 when I experienced an automatic random teleport back to the last corridor in map d2_prison_06. I didn't use any console commands before you say. It was a random, sudden and unexpected teleport/level change. I tried to re-enter map d2_prison_07 but there was a concrete wall blocking the entrance to the control room with the turrets. Fortunately this glitch only occasionally happens but has anyone else experienced this?

17) Also in the "Entanglement" map d2_prison_07 neither the Combine Soldiers or Alyx will come to the control room were the first turret standoff takes place even though I have set all the turrets up. Fortunately this glitch only occasionally happens.

18) In the "Anticitizen One" map d3_c17_02 outside Dr Kleiner's lab DOG will not follow us from Dr Kleiner's lab to throw the van out of the way and tear the Combine Gate open in order for us to reach the next map near the Trainstation. Fortunately this glitch only occasionally happens.

19) Also in "Anticitizen One" in the map d3_c17_06b the second makeshift drawbridge will not drop to let my team cross from one broken building to another. Similar to the above d1_town_01 glitch the winch which is the same cartrap engine model will not release the bridge and even the winch lever doesn't shift. This glitch is very common and was encountered on all but one of my playthroughs with my teammates.

20) In the "Follow Freeman!" map d3_c17_10a Barney blocks the exit from the small building with the charger. Fortunately this glitch only occasionally happens.

21) Also in "Follow Freeman!" in the map d3_c17_10b Barney will not open the door to the Overwatch Nexus roof stairs even though all of the Nexus generators and the Suppression Device have been disabled and all the Combine Soldiers have been killed. He keeps shooting at a ceiling turret in the room with all the trip lasers. Fortunately this glitch only occasionally happens.

22) Also in the "Follow Freeman!" map d3_c17_10b Barney duplicates himself so that there is 2 or even 3 Barneys! Ironically in his duplicated form Barney dies easily from the Nexus Combine Soldier attacks. Fortunately this glitch only occasionally happens.

23) Also in "Follow Freeman!" in the map d3_c17_13 the Strider will not shoot a hole in the wall of the broken building were the final Strider battle takes place. This is preventing us from reaching the RPG rockets on the top floor of the broken building for the final Strider battle. This glitch is very common.

24) In the "Our Benefactors" map d3_citadel_04 the forcefield at the end of the big Strider room cannot be disabled to let my team through as there are no Plasma Globes for the Gravity Gun to remove from the forcefields generator. This glitch is very common and was encountered on all but one of my playthroughs with my teammates.


On To Episode One

25) In the "Undue Alarm" map ep1_citadel_01 Alyx will not follow us to shutdown the next forcefield after the Rollermines killed the first Stalkers. Also sometimes Alyx will not follow us to shutdown the first forcefield near the Stalkers. Fortunately this glitch only occasionally happens.

26) Also in "Undue Alarm" the map ep1_citadel_02b crashes during loading. This glitch is very common.

27) In "Direct Intervention" the map ep1_citadel_04 crashed during loading but even worse the entire team respawned back in the final "Containment Device Room" in map ep1_citadel_03 which was now locked and inescapable.

28) In the "Low Life" map ep1_c17_00 all npcs including Alyx, Antlions, Headcrabs, Zombies, Barnacles and all the physics items are invisible. Fortunately this glitch only occasionally happens.

29) Also in "Low Life" in the map ep1_c17_00a the elevator will not arrive even though we have restored the power and called for it. This glitch is very common.

30) Also in the "Low Life" map ep1_c17_00a Alyx will not get in the elevator. She keeps shooting at the infinite respawning Zombies. This glitch is very common.

31) Also in "Low Life" the map ep1_c17_00a crashes during loading. Fortunately this glitch only occasionally happens.

32) In the "Urban Flight" map ep1_c17_02b the map auto-disconnects when me, Alyx and co reach Barney in the Zombie infested "Safe House" opposite the Hospital. This glitch is very common.

33) Also in the "Urban Flight" map ep1_c17_02b the entrance into the "Safe House" is blocked by an invisible wall. Fortunately this glitch only occasionally happens.

34) In the "Exit 17" map ep1_c17_05 the map auto-disconnects halfway through escorting the citizens and rebels to the Technical Trainstation. Fortunately this glitch only occasionally happens.

35) Also in "Exit 17" the final map ep1_c17_06 auto-disconnects as soon as it loads. This glitch is very common.

*Update*

1) The "Nova Prospekt" map d2_prison_05 has an invisible wall in the exit of the Cafeteria that no player can pass through even after killing the Antlion Guard. This glitch has always occurred since the last Synergy Update.

2) If the "Entanglement" map d2_prison_07 is voted for or restarts after a crash the entire team gets stuck in the barrier at the start of the map. This glitch cannot be overcome even if the entire team dies. This glitch has always occurred since the last Synergy Update. However this glitch does not occur if the map is loaded normally from the end of d2_prison_06.

3) Also in the "Entanglement" map d2_prison_07 during both the first and second turret standoffs some of the Combine Soldiers get stuck in their spawning area out of gun and turret range which prevents Alyx from arriving until all the Soldiers are killed. Only a very skilfully thrown grenade can clear them out. This glitch is very common since the last Synergy Update.

4) The "Follow Freeman!" map d3_city17_11 has a barrier that no player can pass through at the start of it in the Overwatch Nexus stairwell. This glitch has always occurred since the last Synergy Update.
