Question Wanted: WOOT & OSOTC Gameplay Videos

This is a great big WANTED sign for all the WOOT and OSOTC gameplay videos you can find (or make). Why? Because it is fun to see people beat the challenges... and each other. And it's fun to see people take a shot at the tricksyness I've been involved in making
For those who might have missed it (as the update was a bit stealthy), you got the free DLC "WOOT" a while back and with it came a bunch of items, magicks and a bunch of pretty special challenge maps and versus maps.

WOOT Challenges: Eye Sockey Rink, Bout of Madness, Elemental Roulette (tricky!)
WOOT Versus: Elemental Roulette, Prize Podium, Pool of Undeniable Moisture, Diamond Ring
Anyway... I'll start by linking to a video I found today (by a kristan444). Watch it. It's awesome.

Additions:

YouTuber TheKeeshu playing OSOTC Challenges in Coop. He deserves some views!
- World's End Challenge
- Mirror Crystal Cavern -Hideout
- Volcano Hideout

YouTuber Stadtfuchs1 playing WOOT stuff
- Elemental Roulette

I've livestreamed a few...But I mostly play alone, making them not terribly interesting to watch I've been thinking about fun things to do with it, though...

I'm curious if anyone's actually beaten Bout of Madness solo. There doesn't seem to be a water-immunity robe and you really need it due to all the waterblasts, endless nullifies and need a teleport staff constant insta-kills of the later levels.

Did it today, but I don't have the software I'd need to show you how. Rock + water armour is the key to keeping you dry. I combined it with the tank robe. I also got the Dwarven Utility Stick, for massive physical resistance. I was actually trying to get the Fusion Rod - the Pull ability on that can pull anything that's not a Troll into the pits (even Khan). But it never dropped.

So, with that build, and water + rock armour, your only real threat is Lightning, to which you have a massive weakness. Still, teleporting like a madman helps.

Also important is getting as much equipment from the pits as you can, as early as you can. (If you didn't know, 8 enemies down a pit is a free magick and item.) This helps you to get some great magicks like Teleport and Conflagration, and gets you the other magicks from the chests faster. You'll also get a decent-ish weapon out of this, since the item pack has no good ones.

To fill the pits, use three- or four- power water push spells on imps, goblins and the like (to avoid killing them by impact damage before they hit the bottom). Or use the suction on the fusion rod.

So, the setup:

Item drops: Peculiar Gadgets set only (I think that's the set, anyway. The one with the Fusion Rod and the Dwarven Utility Stick)
Magicks: Everything except Meteor Shower and the last one, since you get all of those from the pits anyway.
Robe: Something with defence (tank robe, tentacle robe, epic robe)

Other notes:

Cast summon zombies to distract your enemies.
Charm, likewise. Especially great is if you can charm the Starborns.
Prioritise the goblin mages that use Nullify. One lightning bolt almost completely kills them. A Conflagration will finish them.

Lidtic vil!

Yay ^^

As you might have noticed, you always get the same stuff from closing holes. Or rather, closing the first hole gets you the first "hole reward". Closing a second one (regardless of which) gets you the second "hole reward", and so on. It's designed to give you mobility in the beginning, followed by more utility stuff, and even things to make it easier to close more holes.

You only get rewarded with items for... 7 holes though, I think. Closing holes after that...

Anyway! Here's another (German) video link I just found! Sadly I have no idea what he's saying! Strudel!

(That's the only word I know. It means fish!)

Adding Raise Dead to the Bout of Madness holes was a stroke of genius.

My livestreams don't work because my upload speed is so slow, so I've turned to making videos. But the free versions of anything all place time restrictions on video length. Sadface.

There is a free recorder called MSI Afterburner. It touts to be like a "free FRAPS" or somesuch, and looks really really cheesy.

I haven't tried it, but have heard of people using it.

EDIT: Oh and... thanks :3
