Do i need a new PSU?
hey guys i don't really know much about PSU's :/
last month i upgraded my pc which is now :- AMD Bulldozer 6core 3.8 some mobo DDR3 8gig 1866mhz now i have an old GeForce 9600GSO 512mb, but next month i'm going to buy the 600ti. My PSU is currently 570watt do i need to up it to 700? many thanks |

Trust 570dual fan, think its about 4 years old now

nope get a branded one xfx, antec, seasonic, corsair etc 550w -650w depends whats in your price range

A good quality 550W PSU with at least 30A (360W) on the 12V rail will be plenty:
http://www.anandtech.com/show/6159/t...0-ti-review/18 You should take a picture of the power supply label so we can see what yours claims to be able to do. Though given the older dual fan design, I suspect not. |
