Server list

Is there something wrong with the custom game server list? I barely get any servers listed most of the time, and even when I do the list disappears on a refresh, telling me that no servers responded to my query. Is this problem on my end or is the "master server" at fault?

Also, the server window never saves my search filter settings and I have to change them every time... is this how it's supposed to work because in source I'm pretty sure it would retain your settings after shutting down the program. Thanks
