Smile Steam Winter Sale.

Hello fellow Steam users.
I've come to the attention, that Black Friday comes up at 23rd of November, 2012.
As a past participant of the Steam Sales(Winter/Summer).
I wonder, will there be another major steams sale?
As in Black Friday, it's start of Christmas season, and who doesn't like buying video games in Christmas, where there's time to relax, play video games with friends and family and have fun.
Now, I wonder.
Will their be another Steam winter sale?
I assume yes, as Steam would want people to buy video games via the Steam store, rather then retail.
So, any news yet/announcements regarding the Steam winter sale?

Steam does not give advance warning of upcoming sales … if that's what you're wondering about.

It's basically where every store in America has sales and price reductions on just about every product in their store.

I don't live in America so I always had problems with that as well.
When you hear Black Friday, you think of a disaster or a financial crisis.
Here's a list of famous Black Fridays:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Black_Fridays

So why would you call a shopping day "Black Friday"? It sounds like those people are thinking "Yeah, people died, let's buy stuff to celebrate that."

Turns out police officers called the two days after Thanksgiving "Black Friday" and "Black Saturday", mainly because most people went on a shopping spree on those days, leading to traffic jams and stuff like that.

Some merchants tried to change the name from "Black Friday/Saturday" to "Big Friday/Saturday" but it wasn't as successful.

To be honest, Black Friday is still a disaster:

Retailers hope to sell a lot of inventory getting their P&L's in the Black by the end of the year.

Perhaps there should be a year-long sale annually. It can't fail!

Or maybe a different sale every day and additional sales in the middle of the week and on the weekends?

I'd expect a small sale around Halloween and maybe another around Thanksgiving but the big Winter Sale is going to be around Christmas/New Years.
