How are the zombies gonna attack?

This has been mentioned in other threads but I haven't seen one geared towards the actual question.

Only certain zombies with certain franchises use weapons. These guys, according to the promo pic, can't use weapons. I wouldn't expect them to.

So, wouldn't it be relatively easy to take them all out with our guns? Or do you think that they'll all come really fast in succession rather than waves?

Maybe they will deal damage on touch, dunno I don't think valve will make a whole new set of animations just for this.

They WON'T use weapons.

Npc with weapon = A ING ROBOT THAT WE ALREDY HAVE.

Maybe they will just come in with a basically solid wave of slow moving zombies.

Remember that there are 800+ zombies that are gonna be in the new map, so it might be sheer numbers + special abilities

It might be as if we're fighting a huge, continuous, sluggish tank. Like, they might be more resistant to damage than robots are. But if they get close, it just plays the melee animation and it hurts as much as a normal melee does.

Well, if they can't use weapons they will need to be fast and tough, seeing as you can't have more than 24 NPCs on-map at once in an MVM/MVZ game.

Well, according to the MvM promo video, it's Red and Blue fighting robots. Remember how truthful that ended up being?

I expect them to use "weapons"; basically a huge hoard of reskinned melee-one robots with increased speed. Ullapool caber zombies, mitten zombies, equalizer zombies, etc.

They could use the npc_zombie AI from Half Life 2, and to even things out, remove the upgrade stations, ammo packs, dropable weapons, resupply cabinets, and remove ammo dispensing on the dispenser.

And limit the players to a arena style thing. If you die, your out.

So we can fire our weapons, till we run out of ammo. then be forced to use melee. But now I think about it.. Gordbort unlimited ammo..

there can only be up to 26 zombies on the map same with tobors.
