[The Medic]

This is the demand for more items, especially new mediguns and primaries for Medics. The demand for firearms physicians! Weapons for Field Surgeons! Guns for Docs!

This is The Medic Militia.

As you all can tell, us Medics are in the middle of an item drought. And it's actually been quite bad.

Last update: Hitman Promo items. No item for Medic, only All-Class items. Spy gets a new promo watch though. Scribblenauts promo has Medic in the picture (raep faec) but again, all-class.

Spectral Halloween update: Apart from all-class items, we received one item. The Voodoo Cursed soul. All other classes received at least one item, not including their own Cursed Souls.

Mann Vs Machine: Medic gets something! Voice lines! Yippee! But so does Soldier. And Heavy, Engineer and the Admin. Medic receives 1 new item.

Triad Pack: Medic receives nothing apart from all class items. Demoman also appears to be lacking.

Pyromania update: Medic receives one hat. Fair enough, it's Pyro's update, but Soldier, Scout and Sniper all receive 1-2 new weapons, within item sets. Oh, and I was locked in a barn and left to burn alive. That wasn't fun.

Australian Christmas 2011: Medic receives no new weaponry. Although the Strange Festive Medigun is now worth several buds or so, we didn't actually receive a new hat like all the other classes did.

So. I'm sick of this. No weapons since the Uber Update. Very few new items, compared to other classes. It's actually rather insulting. It's like someone hates us. And Demoman. They hate Demoman too.

I propose this. We wait until the next major update, which will probably be Christmas. If there are no new items for us Medics, we go crazy. We go complete and utter Battle Medic. We refuse to heal all other classes apart from real, explosive-using Demomen. We needle everything to death. We flood SPUF with messages about the lack of Medic-related items. We send (polite) emails to Valve asking what's going on. We go on a rampage.

I'm already doing that too? When I deploy Uber, it's to demolish Sentry nests and getting assists and points for that, and to win the round. And I will bail the moment my Uber's running low, leaving you to die in the frontline. My teammates are just pawns in the grand scheme of things :v
