Hitman Absolution is apparently not out

So stop advertising it like it is. I'm getting fed up with Steam, when I pre-order a game, I expect it to be released when it was said to be released. It was supposed to be out an hour ago. So why can't I play?

Sloppy indeed. I thought I'd be playing it right now. The front page saying that it is available is just adding insult to injury.

Valve!!! Wake up!!!

Front page for me says pre-purchase ..

Game is supposed to release on the the 20th in the US

Game page says releases in 4 hours. That would be the 20th on the east coast.

Most games typically release on a Tuesday so as far as I can tell there is no trickery or stuff going on here.

Store page said 7pm on the 19th for a lot of us.
And some of us have been playing the game already, and are now locked out. Quite a few of us have been playing and enjoying the game and went to fix an issue or resolution or setting, and tried to get back into the game and now it's locked. Although the store page says it's unlocked and ready to play. My store page says "PLAY NOW" even.

Uhm yeah, obvious sloppy mistake is obvious. Thanks! People who still want to pre-order for the bonuses are SOL aswell, because there is no pre-order available anymore. According to the store, the freaking game is released!

Well I'm not SOL if I want to pre-order it.

For whatever reason my game page in the client and website is working just fine.

Midnight release on East Coast, which makes it 9:00 PM for us in the Pacific timezone. It'll be back in less than three hours. Steam messed up by letting you play early and shut it down as soon as they noticed.
