i cant connect to my server after update , gets to around 70- 80 % of loading then server crashes , everything was working and is the same apart from the update itself , i use sourcemod/ metamod ect

it is indeed related to sourcemod I disabled and could connect to my server

Version 2.1.1.6 (left4dead2)
Network Version 2.0.4.3
Exe build: 16:58:06 Sep 26 2012 (5072) (550)

Every time a programmer commits a bad update, he should submit to having all his coworkers kick him in his beanbag. This ceremony will either drastically reduce the number of buggy updates, or drastically reduce the ability of said useless programmers to pro-create.

You could connect to your server probably because it's on your lan. I have a local srcds and I can connect to it even with sourcemod running.

When was that command cheat flagged? I have a cmd list for L4D2 from 2009 and it wasn't cheat flagged either.

It was cheat-flagged at least since version 2.0.3.8 (~ 4th Oct 2010)

Thanks everyone who's been providing info over PM. The network version change appears to be incompatible with sourcemod, so I'm rolling back the network version for now.

There'll be another update to change versions - the depot takes about 45 minutes, and then we'll roll it out.

The NetworkVersion shouldn't affect SourceMod in the least. Parts of SM (the SDKTools extension and other third-party plugins), however, can and will break anytime anything in the CBaseEntity up through CBasePlayer virtual function tables shifts. It will also be quickly updated shortly by one of the SourceMod guys (myself in this case).
