far cry 3 now available in europe

Apparently it is now available in Europe, Asia and other regions. Does that us UK buyers can get it? Because when I access the store page I still get "This item is currently unavailable in your region"

No. It only means it's available in those regions in which Valve currently sell it. The UK is not included in that.

i funked as much. Arg.

I want the game but I don't want to buy it outside steam. I like my games to be at a central point. I would also rather spend a bit more and not use uplay.

It will still be uplay even if you buy through steam.

I bought it on GMG for 30% off and will add it as a "non steam game" to my steam library for easy cataloging.

(I'm in the uk btw)

Because of UK retailers. Redirect your angry mob at them, because Steam is not at fault here, not at all.

God I hate how they force you to use uplay. Why can't all game just run from steam, we dont need other platforms that no one likes. Really annoys me.

Meh farcry is Ubisoft so they need to promote uplay when they can I guess.

Valve do this as well, I don't think you can even buy valve games from anywhere other than steam or retail.

Why did this get moved? Nobody was asking for help or tips, it was merely a "general" notification that FC3 is now available on "steam" in Europe.
