When someone is about to shoot me with RPG or grenades I just jump in their face to avoid getting too much damage or take them with me if they fire in the ground

I've been a rocket whor-e since Q1, surprised no one has mentioned this.
Don't aim at people when you shoot rockets (or smg nades). Aim at the ground, the wall, the ceiling, or any other phys object close to them. This eliminates anyone jumping over your rocket. Half the time they'll jump, rocket will blast them into the air, then they die from fall dmg. No kill points but oftly funny. If they live, you know they're badly hurt. Save your remaining rockets, switch to any spray gun and finish them! If you're almost dead, let everything fly! There is no excuse for missing someone with a laser guided missle! |

Except for when they're above you and hitting the stuff near them isn't an option
but then it's even more sweet hitting them head on ![]() But what I mean with jumping in their face is that they'll hurt them selves also if they fire at you, so lots of people just get stressed out and do that or die =) |

No, should just be to put them in your Steam\SteamApps\username/e-mail\half-life 2 deathmatch\hl2mp folder and use demoplay demoname or the demoplayer (started by demoui in console) and select the demo you want to play.

These shots are also totally possible, although somewhat blind. I tried this first on killbox taking someone off the long bridge w/ rl. Shoot from underneath and slightly to one side. As soon as you see the rocket go over the lip of the higher platform/ground, aim down QUICK with your mouse. Usually can't see the end result, but works fairly well. And you always run the risk of overshooting above and having the rocket fly right back to the toes your pointing at Grav cooking is always easier and more accurate for this situation |

If you know your gonna die and have no chance of getting away, toss a slam and catch it like you would a grenade. Get as close to the enemy as possible, they will still kill you but when they do...
BOOM! You get a point. |

A man after my own heart. If anything I try to switch to a grenade if I know I am going to die.
I've noticed that using 2ndary fire will drop the grenade when you die, even if it was not quite fully primed yet (maybe just lag on my part). Kill a lot of newer players that way, or players who are temp. deaf. |

Ever get jarateed off at a řęťãřđëđ teammate that always steals your kills and/or blocks you? Well get revenge on him even if FF is off! First shoot a combine ball and either catch it w/ your gravity gun or have another jarateed off teammate catch it for you. Then throw it at your řęťãřđëđ teammate and watch as he turnes into a pile of ashes!
