Razer Synapse 2.0

I've got my Deathadder now, all hooked up. And I was wondering, is Synapse 2.0 still bad as it was before?(Give a reason please.) Or has Razer improved it now?

which deathadder did you get? the 2013 version requires synapse, but for the older versions of the deathadder, you should use the 'legacy' drivers.

I hear synapse works well. Offline mode is only accessible after 'registering'. Lots of people at OCN.

So I should just stick to the older drivers?

Does 2.0 let you save configuration on the mouse and use it plug'n'play?

Well I'm actually here now trying to install Synapse but I have a problem.

In the bottom right hand corner Synapse says it recognizes my Deathadder, so I open synapse up, but then it says "Please connect a Synapse enabled device." Then a pop-up comes up and says if I choose to update the framework, Deathadder configurator and Converter. I click to update, then it does the first of three steps. Then I get an error say DAConverter has stopped working. Then it magically says update 100% complete. And the same update pop-up comes up again. Nothing happens.

Any ideas what is going on?

Did you download the driver directly from the Razer site?

I uninstalled Synapse, (Link I originally got the software from.)

This time I installed synapse using the link you provided, it did some things different for the installment. But, in the end, I still have the same problem.

Wow, what I did was I plugged mine in (without any drivers or anything) and Windows recognized it and before I downloaded the driver almost everything worked. All the buttons worked except the DPI and the two right side buttons. Then I went and downloaded the driver from the link I provided, it took a few minutes to finish downloading and after that it asked to finish setup. I clicked OK, when that was done the Razer configuration panel came up and I set all the settings to my liking.

What I would say is to uninstall Synapse and just plug your Deathadder in and see if windows (I'm assuming your on Windows?) recognizes it. Then try downloading Synapse again. Now I have a different mouse and it might be different.

This is bad software.

Almost every time I restart I get a "Please Connect a Razer Synapse 2.0 Enabled Device" None of the keyboard functions work until I restart the software.

? why are you using synapse though?
the 3.5 isn't a synapse supported device, it just works crudely under synapse

http://drivers.razersupport.com//index.php?_m=downloads&_a=view&parentcategoryid=14 7&pcid=48&nav=0,76,168,48

Download the legacy drivers for w/e language you want.

I think my post from last year meant to say that synapse is working well for 2013 deathadders...
