Cannot add funds to Steam Wallet

I've been trying for a few hours now to add funds to my Steam Wallet, but haven't been able to at all. Every time I try to, I run into the exact same issue:

"An unexpected error has occurred. Your purchase has not been completed.
Please contact Steam Support."

I've tried every solution I can think of. Multiple web browsers, restarting Steam, restarting the computer, resetting the router, turning off all other devices connected to the network, etc.

I have contacted Steam Support, but it could take days to hear back from them and the things I planned to use the money for will no longer be on sale by then.

I'm using a Vanilla Visa gift card, the same kind of card I've been using for Steam purchases for a good year or two, at least. I've never had any issues with this type of card before. And yes, I did register the card on the vanillavisa website before attempting the Steam purchase.

Is it just because the Steam servers are overloaded from all of the holiday purchases? Or is there something I need to do to fix it? :/

Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Yeah, happens all the time. Maybe your account just got blocked or something.

Try doing the same about 10-20 times. When i got that problem, it got fixed like that.
Also, this doesn't happen if you have steam wallet.

Not sure what you mean by "this doesn't happen if you have steam wallet", but other than that, thank you. I'm a bit less worried now. :p

I've definitely tried 20+ times by now. Hopefully it fixes itself in the near future, because if I miss some of the sales because of an error like this, I'm not gonna be happy.

EDIT:

Nevermind about the secondary issue, it fixed itself.
Original problem is still happening though.

If anyone else has had this problem, I would really appreciate some more insight into what the problem is.

Try contacting support, they will copy/paste and delay like 3 days, but maybe you fix it.

I fix that by trying a lot of times. Try buying through your browser

As stated in the original post, I have tried multiple browsers.
Also as stated in the original post, I have already contacted support. But it could be days before I hear back from them, and that won't help me with the sales that will be ending soon.

And yes, I have tried dozens and dozens of times (sometimes many times in a row).

Thanks anyways though. :p

I've had to resort to using another account to gift myself games while they're on sale. Very inconvenient, but it'll have to do.

Well, both steam and my credit card and my paypal isn't working either. -_- badly want to purchase in game items ....
Their Customer Service sucks -_-.Blizzard has better CS IMO, they will chat you right away.
