Only Download 1 Game at a time?

Anyway I can get steam to download more than 1 game at a time? I'm on a weak DSL connection and I instead of having 1 game download at a slow speed I would rather have the two games download at a slow speed.

Can you not just click the resume button. Or Pause all then resume all?

Don't really pay attention to downloads. So this may have changed with new client.

If you're limited by your bandwidth, it doesn't matter whether you download the games sequential or parallel. Total time until the download is done will be the same in both cases.

If you can download one game at 1mb/s, then downloading two games at the same time will give you .5mb/s for each game, for a total download speed of 1 mb/s.

The downloads are queued btw, so as soon as one game finishes the next starts downloading.

Or you download a game first and while playing the game download the other game. It works this way too.

it makes abolutely no difference other than that you can play 1 game much quicker when they are downloading after each other.
