Unhappy Why can't I trade in TF2?

I bought two hats! One for $4.99 and one for $9.99 just because I thought I didn't spend enough! Why can I not trade with other users?

I may be mistaken, but it can take up to a day or so for premium to register and allow trading.

If that's the case I should have a premium account by now. I have 58+ hours logged in TF2, and that's not mentioning the time I've been away...

Note those items say "becomes tradeable after a few days." Try again later, like in another 3 days.

You don't understand. I can't even access the trade menu!
I get a text box telling me the user I'm trying to trade with is busy, and when people try to start a trade with me they get the same message.

Don't you need to have Steamguard activated for 15 days before you are able to trade? The account you have linked to your forum account is only a week old.

Your Steam account was created 8 days ago. You need Steam Guard enabled for a minimum of 15 days to be able to trade.

Steam > Settings

Then where it says "Security Status", it should say "Protected by Steam Guard" if you have enabled it. If you don't have it enabled, you will need to be enable it to be able to trade.

So I just have to wait? Okay.
