Unfair penalty Can i have my cool down removed?

I am ranked as a elite master and i have been playing many games. prior to my cool down i have around 10 games completed in competitive matchmaking. I dont understand how team killing in a game (both times accidentally) is going to result in a 7 day cooldown.

I didnt even intend to do it, my teammates ran infront of me and they died on two occasions... Any solution to this?

Are you saying you're bugged?

It goes 30 minutes, 2 hours, 24 hours, one week.

Contact support if you skipped the first 3 bans.

So it stacked on my previous abbandons? the last abandoned game i had (which gave me a cool down) was around 10 games ago. are you telling me that after being loyal to the system, cooldowns Keep stacking?

How does that justify occasions like this, where accidental team kills gets me banned temporarily.

Does this mean cooldowns stack indefinitely? how am I suppose to play i didnt even want to attack my teammates.

It's called being careful.

Cooldowns are limited to 7 days at the most. Cooldowns start at 30 minutes for the first offense, 2 hours for the second offense, 24 hours for the third offense, and 168 hours for the fourth or more offense(s). After a week without any cooldown violations, your cooldown goes down a level. So if you have a 24 hour cooldown and you serve your time and go a week without team killing anyone or breaking any rules, you'll go down a level and on your next violation, you'll simply get another 24 hour cooldown rather than a 7 day cooldown. Bit of a rough explanation, but I think it gets the point across.

Just be more careful. I have played over 100 matches and have never been banned for team killing. I have never even had a cooldown.

No way your are going to get your cooldown removed. System worked as intended.

There is no way to remove cooldown. That information should be written in 100pt red font and pinned on this board

Indeed. The Valve ban system has become self aware and no longer allows Valve employees to alter its decisions.

i am no casual cs player and i play cs go a lot. I respect the system as it keeps the good players in and the bad ones out.

How did you know that after one week you go down a cool down period of time penalty, source?

My source is the official Counter-Strike website and the update release notes. This is relatively old news as of several months ago.

Sounds like you have ruined 27 peoples games before the unlucky team killing happened. Only you to blame TBH.
