Let us speculate the Festive weapons of 2013

Judging by the last 2 Christmas updates, it seems that Valve has made Festive weapons an annual thing. The question is, what new Festive weapons do you think we'll be seeing this year, if any?

Pretty much all of the classes lack 1 or 2 more weapons to have a complete Festive loadout(sans the Heavy, if you count Holiday Punch). Here are the loadout slots that the mercs lack a Festive weapon in:

Scout - Secondary
Soldier - Melee
Pyro - Secondary
Demoman - Melee
Heavy - Melee(if you don't count Holiday Punch)
Engineer - Secondary
Medic - Primary
Sniper - Secondary, Melee
Spy - PDA, Building

Here are my suggestions for next year's Festive weapons:

Scout: Festive Bonk! Atomic Punch(possibly make it look like eggnog)
Soldier: Festive Escape Plan
Pyro: Festive Flare Gun
Demoman: Festive Eyelander
Heavy: Festive Killing Gloves of Boxing
Engineer: Festive Wrangler(also wraps Sentries in Christmas lights)
Medic: Festive Blutsauger
Sniper: Festive Jarate and/or Bushwacka
Spy: Festive Dead Ringer and/or Sapper

THose seem the most likely candidates. Out of personal preference, I'd rather have Festive Detonator, Ullapool Caber and Crusader's Crossbow instead of Flare Gun, Eyelander and Blutsauger, but that's just me. Though considering how last year we had Strange Festive Holy Mackerel and Huntsman, Festive Ullapool Caber doesn't seem all that unlikely...

Also, since Scout had 2 Festives back in 2011, I think Sniper would deserve the same honor this year, since his 2 existing Festives are for the same loadout slot.

Again, that's just my opinion. What do you guys think?

2011: Classic stock weapons

2012: Achievement weapons (except a fish for some reason)

2013: Polycount with something random for Engineer? It's the next chronological lump of weapons that have stuff for every class.

Hmm, the only problem would be that Engineer doesn't have a Polycount set. Unless they make Festive Jag, which, I admit, would be awesome.

Hmmm, you're right. Maybe Engineer will have the odd item out next time. Revised my post.

Festive Pistol (Covers the Scout, but can also be used by the Engineer)
Festive Disciplinary Action (Covers the Soldier)
Festive Shotgun (Covers the Pyro, but can also be used by the Heavy, Engineer and Soldier)
Festive Bottle or Festive Eyelander (Covers the Demoman)
Festive Fists or Festive Killing Gloves of Boxing (Covers the Heavy)
Festive Wrangler (Covers the Engineer, also decorates Sentries, Dispensers and Teleporters in Christmas lights)
Festive Syringe Gun or Festive Crusader's Crossbow (Covers the Medic)
Festive SMG (Covers the Sniper)
Festive Sapper (Covers the Spy)

...damnit I want a Festive Pistol.

They seem to be doing the iconic unlocks, when you think of medic you think of ubersaw, sniper you think of huntsman.

So what Iconic things are left? Not many. Like I cant think of heavy without thinking of the sandvich and sasha, but other than that I dont think of anything.
Spy would get sapper probably
Jarate is iconic to sniper.
Not really much left for engy, though wrangler is pretty iconic to the class.
Sandman for scout
Maybe escape plan/equalizer/shotgun for soldier.
Kritzkreig is a well known medic item
Festive flare gun for pyro
Festive targe, or mabye eyelander for demo

interesting theory on 2012 being achievement items

I personally thought it was a well-orchestrated selection by the Economist. Think about it, they gathered some great info on some key data points...

Sandvich/Buff Banner - SF's that are not Strange yet (and aren't even weapons, to boot)

Huntsman - Salvaged #40

Mackerel - Salvaged #30

Ambassador/Axtinguisher/Ubersaw - Generally regarded as "best in slot"

FJ, who knows what they were thinking

Frontier Justice is also generally regarded as a useful Engineer primary, considering the amount of Sentry kills you usually get.

Also, Grenade Launcher - A popular, expensive Stock Strange primary that has yet to be re-released.
