Why the Napper's Respite price is skyrocketing?

Spreadsheet timeline
from 1-2 Ref as always it was, it climbed up to 2 Keys (craftable) some days ago.

I'd like to know: why? Maybe the assumption that it'll be part of the second set of retired hats? Any proof of that?

Yeah, no. Napper's respite isn't even sold for 2 keys ever. Either a mix-up, or moar conspiracy. Also don't use that spreadsheet, it's not very good at being updated.

Until now I doubt anyone could sell a craft hat like this for more than 2 Refs. But now things are a bit different for this hat and I don't understand why..

How I discovered? Today a Russian "friend" was a bit pressing for me selling my Respite to him then I looked at backpack.tf and here and.. discovered DAT THING..

Head warmer is betterI looks cooler And is sorta ironic it's a hat for the cold and the pyro has it

But seriously: When they appeared people were always seeming to get them in crates and I suspect people always craft them away as compared to other Pyro hats they are pretty boring. Only around 5.7% of players own one but this shouldn't make the price jump, if this was the case the Heavy Duty Rag should also rise in prices with only 5.6% of players owning one.

This may not be true, but I would think that at least partially it's because it goes really well with the Merc Muffler and that Winter Wonderland hoodie for Pyro.

Wasn't this hat uncrated on one of the very first crates?
Maybe some "insider trader" knows that it will be part of the next set of retirement?
The jump (2 ref -> 2 key) is TOO massive for just the beauty or whatever..

I think its because of the new items released,the new scarf and the pyro mask,they fit perfectly with the napper's stripes.

I see many ppl selling the winter mask together with the Napper's as a set, so that's can be "a" reason. Yet, that still wouldn't explain a so steep raise of price all of a sudden, IMO.

Even market manipulation from one guy: how can be a "tripling price in one day" not passing under the eyes of the community?

I'm quite sure there is another (solid) reason we can't figure yet.
So I asked for anyone that could "calculate" if this is a hat that it's "about" to be retired..
