VAC: Some Game Files... no signature/invalid sig.

Validating game cache doesn't help permanently, if at all. reinstall didn't help permanently.

I re-installed on my second harddrive, and it worked for a little while. then, after a restart of the game, i got the message "Some of your game files have been detected to have no signatures, or invalid signatures. You will not be allowed to join VAC secured servers."

and i DO like to play matchmaking every now and again, so this is a ing problem.

HALP!

Right click on cs go in your steam library -->properties -->verify game cache files.

I have to do this literally every time I launch the game.

I launch the game, "INVALID SIGNATURES." Validate files, try to relaunch. INSTALLING DIRECTX. I've already got that installed, and Steam's really buggy with that anyways and won't ever actually install. I hit cancel. Then I relaunch it, and it skips the DirectX window. The game launches fine.

Later in the day, I try to play again, INVALID SIGNATURES. Repeat the whole process.

I think it's caused by a buggy update. Some of my freinds are having this problem since the may29 update. I don't have this problem...

Launch the game from steam, not the taskbar or desktop. That should fix the problem. Or at least act as a temporary work around until they fix it.

I successfully resolved this by doing the following

Quote:
"Guys, did you earlier install my righT.GUI?
If yes, go to resource/flash folder, find loading-de_cache.swf and loading-de_seaside.swf and delete them. There were custom loading screens in my gui, they don't automatically removing after validating game cache.
When you try to join on server it can grab these files to load, but they are old and in console you probably can see errors with those files.
Sorry about it, but mostly it's not my fault. Thanks for using my gui."
