Support Time

I have sent ticked to Steam Support for hijacked account but they didn't respond yet. 5-6 hour has been passed but still no respond. How long is the average contact time?

Depends, but usually something between 1 and 4 days.
Sometimes people are lucky and get a reply within hours, but most of the time it's something between 24 and 48 hours.

Anyway, to speed up the process of getting your account back, make sure to put all the required info into the ticket because the support won't move a finger until they have confirmed that you are the rightful owner of the account in question.

"Two to four days" gets thrown around a lot.

Thanks so much for help. I reazlied that I didn't write ticket number on attachment. I hope this will end soon. By the way, don't login on fake version of Steam just like me. Check url everytime!

I have an open ticket with steam support. First response took 4 days. 2nd response 1 day. 3rd response 1 day. I am now awaiting another reply and since support doesn't work weekends, it'll be a few days by the time I hear back.

Support in a nutshell: slow. Also be prepared, because they will keep throwing pre-facbricated messages at you. Often times it will make you suspect that nobody actually read your ticket.

Steam support is really terrible, especially when you compare it to the support from competitors. In contrast, support from GMG for example is fast (takes a few hours at most), you get REAL replies, and they work weekends.

Well that's nice to hear. I wonder why it's been 2 days since I've posted a message to my ticket and still no reply from them, then. They never seem to reply on the weekends.

I really hate steam support. Sincerely. Hate.
