Oops we posted same time Hazy lol, at the end of the Hamburg video it says "Now on Steam", so guess route will be out soon. Buy route (£24.99\$39.99) before Aug 22nd and get the DB BR424 addon free with route. Hamburg will upgrade to TS2014 tech as will everything else when that gets released in Sept.

Hamburg Video -

I will delete my thread in a little while

Edit - Yes Wally start backing everything up lol

It also says more details will follow on July 30.

I happen to have all of the routes except Hamburg/Hannover. Hope there's a big discount on Hamburg, but I suspect I might have to wait awhile.

I have a comment about the sale now: you'd think, with all those people at RSC, and all those art assets, they'd have been able to come up with a deck of trading cards for the Summer Sale. Such a no-brainer, and they whiffed it.

Yes I have the other 2 routes also Hazy, maybe the DB424 is the carrot for us to buy route before 22nd Aug, would rather have a discount though.

Not quite worked out what those trading cards are for yet lol, keep getting them in ETS2. I've looked at explanations and its still not sinking in.

The cards are basically for making into badges.
If you get the full set, you make a badge, your level on Steam goes up.

This opens new features. Which features I haven't figured out yet.

It's too hot to think, maybe later when the weather turns.
What is meant by 2014 technology?

Those badges earn you little features for your Steam account, like backgrounds and chat emoticons. But another feature is after you hit some higher levels you get different little 'gallery' gizmos (which you can customize) for your Steam profile. You also get to increase the limit on the number of people on your friends list.

It isn't for everybody, but my comment is that it would've been a very low-cost feature to add a half-dozen "cards" and lots of people would've enjoyed them. Maybe they'll do it later.

I don't know - but I think it is technology for 2014, rather than 2013 or 2015.
Too hot, too muggy - storm needed.

Under the Video it says
"Also included with the Hamburg-Hanover route for Train Simulator 2013 is the DB ICE 2, DB Class 101 and DBAG Class 294 shunter."

As predicted the ICE2 will come with this route although the 101 & 294 don't look much different to the locos with M2A.

Not sure about a 424 unit? Is it a WIP?
Won't be a number change on the 423 as the 423 has 3 sets of doors on each coach compared with 2 sets on a 424.

Edit

Just noticed the info from Facebook about the 424 unit.

Roger wilco. Just got to nip out and buy some blackout curtains and tin foil head gear first. Better check the cellar and see how the supplies of canned food and bottled water are looking too.

22% shout back-up back-up or die
27% depict doom and gloom,
35% predict the end of the world as we know it,
42% predict that it will be worse than TS2013,
1% think it will be an improvement.
Doubting Thomases - nahh.

50% said it would be a boy and
