Rockstar hasn't announced a PC version yet. Likely that is going to happen sometime next year. I'd say the game will very likely also be on Steam, if it's released for the PC. This is still all speculation, though.

Rockstar usually priorities in consoles. I presume this because they do not like people on PC pirating their games.

GTA IV came out on Windows seven months after it came out on consoles, so seven months from now probably wouldn't be a bad guess. I'll probably just go grab it on PS3 today, then wait for a full version and a sale to get it on Steam (if it does make it here).

That's funny because both the PS3 and X360 versions of GTAV were available on torrent sites a week before release.

"They don't like PC because of the pirates" is just the scapegoat people use to say that the developers are out to get them. Like with what you said, and back with Gears of War 3 (or maybe it was 2), they were leaked and pirated like crazy on consoles. I'm sure they make a ton more from console sales, so they focus on those first, get those out, then take the time for a PC version.

I don't think it's piracy the reason. I'm sure it would sell very well on pc as well. It's about focus on consoles and the extra effort to port the game to pc. They just didn't want to have one more system to work on, but instead concentrate on ps/xbox. I'm also not sure it will come to pc, red dead was never released. I hope i am wrong ofcourse. GTAV seems like the most ambitious game ever released.

PC and consoles both pirate but the reason people target PC for piracy is because its easier to pirate.

And the reason to hold off the PC release is so people buy the more expensive console version instead so they get more money and it works thanks to hype.

This game will sell like hotcakes on consoles. When they port it to PC it will sell like good Canadian bacon.

- People need to stop freaking out over the lack of news on a port; Max Payne 3 came over and it looked and ran amazingly well. I'd expect the same from GTAV. Choosing not to do a port is just lost profits for 2k/Rockstar and no publisher likes to miss out on greenbacks.

Graphics on trailer is PC

And on Console the graphics is sh*t and no mod.

The trailers were PS3 footage.
If there was a PC version it would be on torrent sites too.
Cheating is just as common on PC as it is on console - and is in some cases more prevalent.
