FC4 Source:DS not updating
Having a problem updating my LAN server. It's been ~60 days since I updated it last.
Fired up the server, patched the patcher and rebooted the server It updated the shared content, rebooted it again, and it stops at Auto detecting CPU Using SSE2 Optimised binary. Auto-restarting the server on crash Updating server using Steam. Checking bootstrapper version ... Updating Installation Checking/Installing 'Counter-Strike Source Shared Content' version 47 Checking/Installing 'Base Source Shared Models' version 3 Checking/Installing 'Base Source Shared Sounds' version 3 Checking/Installing 'Base Source Shared Materials' version 7 Updating 'Source Dedicated Server Linux' from version 51 to version 58 It sits at the updating from 51 to 58 prompt indefinitely. Anyone seen this before or have ideas on how to get this patched and working again? No mods installed ... just a straight install from quite a while ago. ~M~ |

Just let it sit
Eventually it should update.I had the same problem a few weeks back. Took about 4 hours to download a single update. During that time all our client's servers were down

It finally updated
I had inadvertently left the box running last night (only have a net cable and power cord ... ssh into it) and it did finally update itself.
Very strange ... but it is working again!!! Thanks for the heads up candy-man. ~M~ |
