I thought I'd better post this in the same format as it is over at Ritualistic forums as it's a lot easier to see the fixes etc. I've made a few bits of fixes for some of the so-called "Deleted Scenes" missions by Ritual. Most of these are just small changes, like altering a certain model or replacing a graphic in a mission, one even changes the name of the game on the splash screen as I think "Deleted Scenes" really does make the game sound second rate. I really enjoy playing the Ritual portion of CZ and there are a few more of you out there I know!! I thought I'd post this in a new thread as it's not obvious from the old thread header that it contains fixes.
Just to reiterate... The files listed below contain sound fixes for many Deleted Scenes missions, plus there are two other maps, Motorcade 2 and Building Recon 4, that have model errors in them that are now fixed. Various Sound Fixes for DS Maps Motorcade 2 - GIGN Model Error Fix Building Recon 4 - SAS Model Error Fix If you know of any other map errors for DS maps, please let me know and I'll try to fix them if I can... I'm just adding a new fix for the signs and a computer screen in the Downed Pilot Mission for Deleted Scenes. Oh yeah, I nearly forgot about the small "fix" which renames the so called Deleted Scenes to The Ritual Missions.
The name annoyed me as it made them sound second rate... anyway. All this does is changes the Menu screen ![]() The Ritual Missions Clicky for Piccie Drop the contents of the rar file into your - Steam/Steamapps/YOUR ACCOUNT/condition zero deleted scenes/resource/background/ folder... |

Well, I was bored again tonight!
I have just made some alterations to some textures in Rise Hard. If you play through it, you will notice that some of the computer screens in the GenaServ building have the screen textures back to front. Rather than hack the bsp file I've just replaced this texture with a GenaServ logo, which looks the same either way around ![]() I've also replaced the numbers to show which floor the lift is at, as these were not aligned properly and appeared to "jump about". Where do we stick all these fixes?
I know it's somewhere in Steam\your_account\SteamApps\condition zero deleted scenes\ Good work again btw, good to see someone still cares about Deleted Scenes. It's very underrated. |

Put the contents of the RAR files into your -
C:\Valve\Steam\SteamApps\YOUR ACCOUNT\condition zero deleted scenes\czeror directory It should be explained in the readme files within the RAR. |

Hmm... Pioneero alerted me to some bad model choices in Pipe Dream, where the Spetsnaz were in desert camo, but were using standard helmets. Also some Spetsnaz later in the mission were totally grey!
This meant that I had to alter one of the main model files for the game which unfortunately affected one of the models used in Secret War, which I've altered too. This means that poor old Yuri in Secret War has to dress like all of the other Spetsnaz ![]() Fix for Spetsnaz Uniforms in Pipe Dream Mission Clicky for Piccie |

![]() Big thanks to FrostbiteX for helping with this one! I noticed that some of the lights in Downed Pilot 3 were missing a glow and therefore looked a bit... umm... poor. Things are a bit slack, so I updated the first map of Miami Heat to include a bit of a cinematic piece in the intro... nothing much, but you'll see what was excluded form the final cut.
I changed a camera angle a little to help with it. As I say, not a big change, but it adds a little to the story I think... Cinematic Beginning for Miami 1 Mission Clicky for Piccie |
