The weekend deal is not available in Germany. To compensate for that, Call of Pripyat still sells for the same price if one wants it alone.

Great deal. I bought the first one for $1.99 back during the holiday sale but I have not had time to play it yet.

I got the STALKER 3 games pack through GamersGate a few months back. I'm playing Clear Sky first since Shadows happened after. It's a brilliant game, especially after you throw in the realism mods. Love the weather effects and mist and long draw distances. I'm about to enter the Garbage to get my stuff (no spoilers). Really great game. Been playing it for hours. Doing a LOT of walking. I'd expect Shadows and Pripyat to be equally impressive.

Hmmm. I wanted to jump on the STALKER weekend deal, but I have an APO, FP address. I used to make purchases with PayPal since Steam doesn't have an AP selection in the state field. (AP, AA, AE and such are active duty service member addresses.) I discovered that Steam now checks the PayPal verified address against the entered billing address. Since I can't select AP as the state, I can no longer get past verification.
Looks like I'll miss out on this weekend deal unless somebody knows a workaround. I can't use Click and Buy since I can't make the call needed to verify the account. |

Typical, Mafia 2 is apparently regionally restricted in Japan.

Try the support forum in the billing section. I posted for help purchasing this weekend deal and support gave me an "unblocked" link to purchase the STALKER weekend deal.
Maybe they can do the same for you with Mafia 2. I'll probably pick it up myself. I hope it has some of the fun stuff from the original Mafia. |

Region restricted titles cannot be bought in said region. Yours is a billing error so you are able to buy the game.
Indeed. All this has done is lost 2k and Valve the profit for a full price game. As I won't waste my time having this gifted to me until it's in a $15.00 or less sale now. |

Australian status for recent price drops and sales.
All prices are in US$. Different between US and Australia - Dead Space - $19.99 in US, $14.99 in Australia - Crysis - $29.99 in US, $14.99 in Australia - Crysis Warhead - $19.99 in US, $14.99 in Australia - Battlefield 2 Complete - $29.99 in US, $14.99 in Australia Very unusual. Most of EA's games are double the price here, yet some are now less? Not that I don't appreciate the price drop, but it would be nice to see some consistency. (Would also be nice to see a price drop on games that don't contain DRM) |

Yotsuba, yeah, I live here, too. It's kinda a drag when there's a title I really want. Luckily, there's plenty of great stuff that isn't region restricted out there and I'm a patient guy. It's not really Steam's decision (I'm sure they would sell everything everywhere if they could), so I don't complain.
You probably know this already, but you might want to check GG from time to time. For some reason, they have a less restricted policy for us. Unfortunately, it seems like maybe that's changing slowly, and they're a little slower to get the new stuff. What really bugs me is the Japanese companies that region restrict their games in Japan! (I'm looking at you Konami!) I guess that's so we have to buy the local version from a local retailer. |
