Preconfigured Linux OS at 1000 Hz

Is there a Linux kernel operating system that is preconfigured for gaming or that has a kernel that is configured for 1000 hz? Looking at the threads that people are looking to increase their ticrates for their servers, you would think that their would be demand for this type of setup.

I have been running several FC servers and 2 weeks ago I updated 1 FC6 to the latest FC kernel 2.6.20-1.2925.fc6.
This kernel was set to 1000Hz default in the config-file ..
