Hmm, what lighting to use...

I'm building a small room with Combine style lighting, and well... I have no idea how to make combine lights look as awesome as they do. (IE... All of them)
The color, spot, normal? Sprites...

Actually, usual Combine lighting is 147 226 240, but try here, and scroll down to where it says "Techniques" and it gives several values.

I see... But that sprite lighting effect... All the sprites point down, and as far as my skizzlizels go, I can't rotate sprites.
Edit: >_> They used point_spotlight?

That, or they used light_dynamics, which would give lights and sprites.

Lighting is integral part of the overall theme for the map! Here are some really good tutorials on how to use light:
