Custom Textures Error.

I made some custom textures there all sized at 128x128, 256x256, or 512x512 and were all converted from tga images. But when I start up hammer and look for theme they just show up as the purple and black error. How do I make them work?

I figured out the problem. Evrything was done right eccept for the directory on the VMF I used backwards slashes.
