Blocking Volume

How can I make a see-through box which blocks players, bullets, etc.?

There is nodraw. But say if that brush is on the floor you will need to make the underside face an "invisible" texture otherwise the floor would disappear.

nodraw 1 unit above the floor and also not into contact with any other brush, as it blocks vis and will confuse the engine if it seals off an area

I need it to be able to see through though...

what i'm making is a fense and I've got the perfect fence texture... but I can shoot bullets through it.

I want a fence I can partially see through but can shoot anything through and can't walk through

there's a 'block bullets' texture and a 'playerclip' texture, which should turn up with a bit of searching, they are both invisible
