Episode Three wants (endings included) and don't wants - Post them here. MEGATHREAD

Read title.
Now for my contribution.

Episode Three for me to be the best game I'm going to play next year will have to be EPIC! Now you may wonder what makes a game EPIC!

Let me explain.
Something to be EPIC! needs to make me want to play that game or that part of the game over and over again just to watch it.
An example of this EPIC!ness is evident for me in the first 2 chapters of Half Life 2. First a very cool Gman intro scene, then the double doors opening and bam! You're faced with a dystopian city with a truely EPIC! Citadel in the background, then you reach Klieners lab and the ambient music starts, then you feel surreally safe. These 2 scenes are EPIC!

Another EPIC! scene is "Dark Energy" where the final "boss" fight is EPIC! because, you're on this 3 kilometre high skyscraper, a massive portal above you, sunset views, massive noise and victory in sight.

Only 1 request. A clean HEV suit.

*shudders at the amount of times the word EPIC! was used*

What do I want? There's very little I ask of Valve. I simply want them to do their best for Episode Three. I don't want them to rush and i'm perfectly happy with however long development takes.

I want the option to play as Alyx or at least as Chell again (I know, never happen)

I want more G-Man. That's it. I don't care if they do nothing in the game but one nice G-Man scene. That's all I bloody want! G-Man! G-Man! G-Man! G-Man!

MNDF!

Episode Two has a great G-Man scene. I'm sure there'll be more of them, MNDF.

What I want is one mission where you infiltrate an enemy base disguised as a Combine Overwatch and get to drive their armored transports

Haha! Infiltration, nice idea... But I don't think it is likely due to the Combine technology... But if VALVe could explain it and then do it I would be rather impressed and happy

Yes Mimaz... I know... Unfortunately, due to my ????hole computer I had to watch Ep2's G-Man scene at TWO FPS and with no sound (Thank God for subtitles)... *sigh*

Barney was disguised as a combine soldier, so I don't see why Gordon shouldn't be able to do it.

On a side note. I want Valve to give everyone a nice hot shower and clean underwear.

I had this problem on one of my comps with 512mb ram, but the "-heapsize 256000" launch parameter fixed it. Remember to specify a heapsize that is half of your ram size.

Back on topic, I would like to see a return of some of the old Xen creatures. I was hoping for some in ep2, out in the countryside, but instead it seemed really peaceful and normal.

Also, more Lamarr

Thanks! I'll be sure to try that some time when I'm not half asleep.

Yeah... I wanted more 'Xenians' too... Houndeyes, Bullsquids and their ilk.

Oh and Lamar is in space

I want episode 3 to just come out soon like Valve had originally intended to do with the episodes.

Phew, I was beginning to think I was the only one. I just left the room for the scene and watched it on Youtube afterwards (same with the ending scene as well)
