Chapter Selection?

Maybe i'm using my saves wrong but it would be nice to be able to go back and replay a chapter (maybe to get achievements, but sometimes I just like to replay a level or part of a level for the fun of it)

From what I could tell I only had like six save slots so this was not enough to re-play each level if required.

Am i wrong here?

You go new game and choose a chapter from there. It's the same on console as it is on PC.
