Thats not correct. I'm aware you don't wish to reply any more, but that statement is completely false.

The CVAR will not be allowed in any server without sv_cheats 1 on. You can have it in your config, but it will have no effect.

The VAC status of the server does not matter. No CVAR will affect VAC in any way.

r_3dsky 0 used to be usable with sv_cheats 0... is that a relatively new thing? r_worldlights is also a big fps booster, does that one still work? haven't used an fps cfg in a while so i am a little behind on my research here
