Stop moving our threads!

Seriously! Whoever it is that moves threads, leave our ps3 and 360 threads here if this is where we post them. Just because they arent about The Orange Box doesn't mean that they should be in the off topic forum where we will be blasted with hate by pc Hammer Legion Members.

If you're posting threads that aren't about the console versions of the Orange Box then they will be moved. At the end of the day the threads are off topic and so they will be moved to the appropriate section.

Of course, a FEW people here hate us.
Why?

Same reason lawbreakers hate cops.
If you break the rules, we'll enforce it and notify you. We're not here to censor ideas or threads (for the most part... if we do, it's inappropriate).

Don't hate us because we simply do what we're here to do. If you post something that isn't having to do with the OB on the consoles, why should it be here?

Let the Forum Moderators do the moderating. Backseat Moderating is when people who are not Moderators try to enforce the forum rules. Whenever you see a person breaking the rules, take advantage of the "Report this post to a moderator" link. Or simply IGNORE the offensive post(s) or thread. The most common backseat reply is the "+1 in before lock" phrase. Backseat moderating is annoying, and it's kind've pointless.

Report Post to the Moderators:
Should you observe a fellow forum member breaking these rules please report the post by clicking the Report Post button "http://forums.steampowered.com/forum...ons/report.gif" located to the left of every post, or if that feature is unavailable feel free to contact any of the Forum Staff.

Forum Administration/Moderation Questions/Issues

If you've got a question about the forum that's fine. However, refrain from posting threads such as:
-Why was my thread locked/deleted?
-Why was this person banned/Unban this person!
-Demands that threads be locked/deleted - if you see something innapropriate; report it and move on. If you can't PM the mod in question as they haven't posted a closing comment - just deal with it.
