I would recommend at least another 512MB of RAM to bring the toal up to 1GB. A better graphics card which in turn would probably mean a new motherboard from the jump to PCI Express. Finally a better CPU.

A move from onboard sound would be a good idea too as all the FPS in the world doesn't mean anything if your games sound like crap.

And what would you suggest for him to get a higher score? Everything but the CPU looks good to me...If he upgraded to a 4000+, what would you give him? Or if he went with 4800+?

Okay thanks, we have a sort of computer-man (lol) which knows everything about it and I always order stuff from him cus its cheap. He also knows where to place it and how and everything.

What are the exact requirements for HDR without lag? Oh and the sound is fine I think... thats just optional.
At the VALVe store there were some recommended system requirements for HL2:LC:

Recommended:
2.4 GHz Processor, 512MB RAM, DirectX 9 level graphics card, Windows 2000/XP, Mouse, Keyboard, Internet Connection

And I think I got all of this, isnt it? But I cant run HDR, so which are the minimum requirements for running all HDR maps without lag? Anyone?

Thank you all for your support.
