Reset Stats

Well, the reset button has finally returned.
I really would have preferred to keep my playtimes, but it's probably best that nobody sees how high they were.

they want you to believe that you will be able to but they are only teasing you and will never actually do it.

I really don't see why they ever removed it. Resetting high scores would also add some replay value.

Also, bump because the pyro whining threads are pushing this away too fast.

Yeah same, I played a modified server and my points went a bit insane. Reset would be pretty great.

I was pretty sad when they took the reset stats button...but actually, it didn't work for me. But I miss the warm feeling you get when you keep one-upping your records T_T

Maybe they should have global stats as well as local stats. I dont think the public stats should be resetable, but some local stats, cool

Glad to see I'm not the only one with messed up stats. Maybe something will finally be done to fix them.
I just hope it doesn't reset play times too, that would kinda suck.

Be sure to send the suggestion to Valve with the report bugs option ingame.

That would defeat the purpose of resetting them. My stats would still be messed up.

well you all do realize the one that they used to have in the game never worked and they took it out because it never worked. so yeah, bring back a non working button.

True, but the command to reset stats in the console used to work. I did it myself.
Now the console command doesn't even work. No one knows why.

If they brought it back they would fix it first.

In the Commentary they said stats were meant to be personal achievements and personally I want to reset my stats.
