TF2 - Problems forcing players to be a certain class
I'm making a map that requires all players to be demomen. Currently it isn't a problem when I load the map. The player spawns, being pushed through with trigger_push through another trigger that changes the players class to demoman instantly when touched.
However, when I upload my map to official servers, the trigger doesn't work and the player can remain whatever class they chose. Everything else of the triggers work just fine: The trigger push, the teleports, the info_text, everything. Just not the class change triggers. I think it's something I'm doing wrong, because I have played on maps that force players into being a sniper from online servers, and I looked at the map through Hammer, trying to learn how they did it, but obviously I didn't do it all correctly. |

Personally I think forcing classes should be left to a server mod, not the map.
Why does your map require all players to be demoman, if it's just a jump map, none of the other classes (apart from solider) will be able to get anywhere anyway. |

It's not meant to be for soldiers either. Trust me. It's been in development for over a year, and it's not like it can't be done, so I just need to find out what I'm doing wrong.
