Mouse/keyboard lag
I've been having this problem where the my mouse or keyboard will just freeze for a second or delay. It's really annoying. I don't know whats causing it. I don't think it's my mouse and keyboard because this only happens in Source, not TF2 or any other game. It's not lag because I maintain a stable FPS, low ping, and little choke/no loss. I also don't have VSync on. Someone recommended that it might be a dirty mouse pad, but I bought a new one recently so it can't be that. Any ideas?

Are you running vista?
If so, try running it in Windows XP compatibility mode. That's what I did, and I haven't had trouble since. ![]() |

If it's only in CS;S it might be the games settings. You can try setting them to default. Open the console and type "exec config_default". Remember that this will reset everything, including customs binds etc.
