Steam keeps shutting off

My steam keeps closing itself down, especially when I open friends.

Anyone know why this is? I've even reinstalled my Steam client

INteresting, however the only programs I have running are Kaspersky. I just tried disabling and completely closing Kaspersky, but the problem still persists..

Well, it went ok, now its doing the same thing. I WAS going to buy Left 4 Dead, but I dnt want to spend money on something with this problem..
