I wonder how one could vocalize many of the commands that arn't there really, like PlayerLost , and ToTheRescue (which can be used to let the player know you're comming. I think originally this is used when you point at a player to be rescued from the closet but it also would work in other situations.

i.e. how can I bind "kill" to "ALT+del" ?

Cheers.
alias "+altkill" "bind del kill"
alias "-altkill" "bind del """
bind "alt" "+altkill"

It will bind delete to kill while you hold down alt, and then unbind it when you release it.

Thank you

EDIT:
I changed:

alias "-altkill" "bind del """

with:

alias "-altkill" "unbind del"

because it didn't unbind "del".
Thanks again.

So, is there definitely no way to fix the crosshair in thirdpersonshoulder mode?

If not, then I kind of hope Valve patch it (never gonna happen).

Not officially supported, so probably not.

Try it with a Hunting Rifle. You'll notice that your aim is always about an inch to the right of the crosshair, at range. Just compensate by aiming to the left a bit..

Well, I found a few commands which actually do help align it in another forum:

c_thirdpersonshoulderoffset # ( def. "20.0" ) : How far left (negative number) or right (positive number) the camera is from the center of the player model, and how close to the crosshairs left or right from where you are actually shooting. (Zero means the player model is in the middle of the screen and you shoot exactly where the crosshairs are pointed on a horizontal basis)

c_thirdpersonshoulderaimdist # ( def. "120.0" ) : How close the crosshairs are below from where you are actually shooting. (Higher number means you shoot closer to the actual crosshairs on a vertical basis)

c_thirdpersonshoulderdist # ( def. "40.0" ) : How far away from the player model the camera is.

c_thirdpersonshoulderheight # ( def. "5.0" ) : How high up from the player model the camera is.

cam_ideallag # ( def. "4.0" ) : How long it takes the camera to face in the direction of the crosshairs when looking around.

I use c_thirdpersonshoulderaimdist 600 and I seem to be able to hit what I aim at.

Is there a way for me and a friend to play online with just infected and no bots? So basically we're free to run around the level for as long as we want without worry.

Too bad that its require sv_cheat 1. Why it considered as a cheat? Completely disagreed this that. Just usual graphic option (besides not good enough) No affect in visibility anyway
