Cant run CS 1.6 on Windows 7

hello
i was runniong cs 1.6 fine with my Win xp but 2 days back i changed my OS to Windows 7.. i like the windows but unforunatly CS 1.6 dont support OPENGL in that OS.. i kepp on getting messages that opengl and also D3D mod is not supported. please help i wana run cs on opengl mod... im a clan member and an admin of a server so i have to be regular on the server.

i have ATI redeon 550x and i dint install video card as i used to do it in xp because ati 550x drivers are already installed in this windows... plus i also checked i have no yellow question marks on my video card in device manager.. please see the screen shot..

Download drivers from here. If they refuse to run, right click and open properties. Go to compatibility tab and run it in compatibility mode with Vista.

No problem, drivers that you were using earlier are designed to support all cards, they are not designed for gaming, they are just to make Windows look acceptable before you install correct drivers.

Thumbs up CS Zero in Windows 7 (solution)

if u hv problems to play Condition Zero in Windows 7, juz right click on Condition Zero shortcut at your desktop, go to Compatibility tab, tick on 'Run this program in compatibility mode for:' then choose 'Windows XP (Service Pack 3)' also tick on 'Run this program as an administrator'..then u can play without problems anymore..hv fun
