I have yet to have this problem....however for the love of God....if you KNOW what the problem is.....why are the BUYERS supposed to be expected to fix it......WHY don't YOU fix it and and have our computers download and fix it??? SOOOOOOOOO SICK of having to re-write programs.......that is why I BUY them so I DONT HAVE TO FIX IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Failed to find steam.

"Failed to find Steam".

But it's right there?!

cant launch the game

my window say that the game cant be started due to non-compatible colors and then an error windows appear and it says cant find steam. thats my problem , now ive checked the other post and i know i wont have any help from steam so if anybody know what to do please respond theres a lot of people that wants to play the game. please help!

I just tried & it loaded fine, windows did change to the windows 7 basic theme, though. Do your PCs attempt to do that?

If you encounter the message 'application error, can't find steam' then do the following:

1. Bring up the Start Menu
2. Right click on Computer, select Properties
3. Go to Advanced System Settings, select Environment Variables

But then you go to the "System variables" section
4. find the Variable named "Path"
5. Mark it, and click Edit
At the end of the existing string:
6. add ";" followed by the path to Steam.exe
for example ;H:\Program Files\Steam\

Works fine by me, just close steam and start up again. Then select pirates and it'll begin! Go live the life ;-)
