This. Once Valve handed off the update to MS, they get to choose what time on the 21st it's released.

Or did you really think Valve was going to hand MS the update on the 21st and be like "Ok, have fun getting it set up in the marketplace for download! Lulz!"

well, back then companies couldn't really patch a game until they made an expansion (if they did)

or if its like the dlc the 360 got for fallout 3.....

that dlc crashed and wasnt playable,they ended up having to delete it and w8 another day.........

Seriously, there's nothing wrong with this. I didn't complain when PC users got patches month before I did, but you spoiled brats have to ♥♥♥♥♥ and moan that we get it a few hours earlier.

Sadly this made me lose all respect of Valve and anything associated with them!
And it makes me wonder why did I bother with the PC version!
Really, I'm getting fed up of left 4 dead anyway...I don't care anymore...
Come on...look at other games, they provide lots of more updates and faster than this!
And at least they won't screw loyal customers that would stop their life just to play.
Seriously, this thread is 5 stars to me!
More of these delays comparing to consoles or other games then I'll "ragequit" Steam!!!

While it doesn't bother me that the Xbox gets the update first, I do find it kind of odd. Valve is a PC developer first, console developer second; at least that is how I always viewed them. Sigh, things are going more and more toward consoles every day.

The explanation could be as simple as releasing the updates while traffic is lowest...

They were probably being fair. 2:00 is when it is available for the Xbox, and the PC will be available later. That's as fair as Patches being released MUCH sooner for the PC than the Xbox, because it was available for the PC first.

I agree, it's incredulous to think that someone who purchased the game at a higher price point will be getting the DLC a few hours before me! This destroys any credibility Valve ever had and I for one will jump off a bridge if Valve doesn't give me the DLC personally right now.
